1.1- Verify your email address

After completing registration, you will receive an email in order to verify your email. In the email click on "Verify Email Address".

2- Add your website

Before adding a new website you should set your time zone in your account settings. To add a website go to your dashboard and click on "New website". In the "URL" enter your full domain with "http://" or "https://" such as "http(s)://www.mydomain.com/". Then you should choose the privacy settings of your stats: "Private" only you can see the stats, "Public" anyone can see the stats or "Password" so that you can give access to anyone you want to see the stats.

On the "Exclude IPs" section you can enter any IP that you don't want to track.

The next option lets you exclude bots from showing in your stats. Bots are robots that systematically browse the World Wide Web, typically for the purpose of discovering and indexing websites.

The last step is the tracking code. This is the piece of code you need copy and paste into your website, either on the <head> or <body>. You don't need to perform this immediately, you can click on "Save" and when you want to, you can always get the code by going to your dashboard and clicking on the menu symbol on the right side of your website then choosing "Edit".
